Lewis is a major Terran Federation colony which shares orbit with the colony of Clark.
The planet was colonized in 2117 to serve an an agricultural and mining colony. Over time, the colony became one of the greatest of the Inner Colonies. In 2478, following the Destruction of Rintanna Prime, Lewis was among the Inner Colonies which accepted the bid for their colonies to host populations. The populations on Lewis were among the most stable in the Inner Colonies.
