The Lirin War was a conflict between the Terran Federation and the Lirin species and humanities first interstellar conflict.
After the war, the Terran Federation expanded into four star systems that the Lirin once claimed as their territory. These colonies eventually became very influential culturally and politically in Terran Federation space.
