Proxima III is a major Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
Proxima III was colonized by Humans in 2103, with the native Hasik becoming worried for their people. The actions on the colonists from several violent warlords launched the Hasik War, in which the colonists began fighting violent Hasik tribes. This war ended after six months with the chief Lyonie negotiating peace with the colonists. These actions as well as events on Orion IV and Vega IX would result in the passing of the Harkin Colonization Act, which outlawed settlement on worlds with sentient life.
